Percy Jackson, Blogged by Ashlynn W.

Author: Rick Riordan

  • Built off Greek Mythology.
  • Characters that are so unique and built solely from the magic residing within the author.
  • The plot rages and roars, filled with love, loss, trial, courage, and suspense and will leave you gasping for the final words.

An Abundance of Katherines, Blogged by Kaitlyn

Okay, An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, AKA John Mean. An Abundance of Katherines was very predictable. Very predictable. Very annoying. It also was slow-moving and hard to get into. The End.

This book involves characters with cancer, but it is truly not about cancer.

This book will shower you with happiness, drown you with sadness, and hug you with cuteness.

Maximum Ride, Blogged by Ashlynn W.

Author: James Patterson

Summary: Revolves around scientific mutations and experiments performed on children.

98% human 2% avian (bird) children live in the envied life of most children with no parents and no rules! But to them this is not the life of paradise, because constant running - or flying - from people with a death wish for them, no home, and not enough food and never knowing if survival will last through the night, and flashbacks to the horrible days of experiments constantly plague their daily existence. But even through all the loss, death & betrayal, do you still think its possible for these funny, sarcastic, unfortunate children to have a somewhat happy ending?

You will have to read to find out. Just a fair warning when you pick up these books all else ceases to matter to you & you will have a hard time putting it down.
